Not sure what to say?

I will always remember him playing the fiddle by the Brazos .Our prayers are with you.

Dear Sue & Family

We deeply regret to hear of Virgil's passing. I want you to know that I as well as the rest of our family felt a special bond for you and Virgil during our last visit to your home during Alton's funeral. I.ll never forget him or his music on the river bank that day. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I had the distinct pleasure of getting to meet Virgil and his lovely wife Sue. Sue my heart goes out to you as each time I was with you and Virgil you were all smiles and sure know how to make others smile! It was a privilege to see and hear him play the fiddle. Tonight and always, Sue, you, Virgil and your family are in my prayers. God Bless You!.....Vince

Dear Sue and Family: Over 70 years ago Virgil and I played together on the banks of the Brasos river (and sometimes in the river). We were so sorry to hear that he had passed away. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Robert & Wanda Hale. Round Rock, Tx.

So Sorry to your family -to hear about your loss. My Mom (Elsie Jean Garrison) was a family friend growing up. Mom's sister-in-law is Aunt Lucy. Mom & Dad (live in AZ) don't have a computer so want to pass on condolences. May memories/family/friends be of comfort.

After hearing about this sad loss my thoughts have not been far from the "Stephens" side of my family that I lost track of 20 years ago. I will always remember Virgil with great admiration and respect. What a wonderful brother he was to Jasper. Love Cindy
