Not sure what to say?

Aunt Evelyn,
I will always remember Uncle Virgil for his kind voice and his gentle touch. My earliest memories of him were before I was a teenager and I'd be up early ready to go to work with daddy. Back then Uncle Virgil would still ride on the milk trucks he supervised and we always enjoyed seeing him. That big smile on his face and a funny saying or joke was welcoming. As a young teenager I remember ya'll letting us come to your apartment on Woodale to swim. That was so thoughtful. Then...

Aunt Evelyn - the loss here on earth of a wonderful, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle is almost unbearbale but the gain in Heaven is priceless. In my heart I will always remember the love and gentle kindness of Uncle Virgil; the way he loved, respected and cared for Grannie; the caring and giving spirit that lived within him that he shared with everyone he met. We are looking forward to being reunited with him in Heaven! We pray that Jesus will fill the sadness in your...

Uncle Virgil looked so much like my Dad. I am sorry to hear that he's gone, but we know Jesus is faithful and has prepared a better place for him.
My thoughts and prayers are with you for the Lord to bring peace and comfort.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Evelyn,
I am so sorry for your loss. You will always remain in my heart and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Love always,
