Not sure what to say?

I met Virgil back in the late 90's when I was working for Delta Air Lines. I booked all of his reservations for many, many years. He and Salli are such wonderful people and I feel so blessed to have had such an amazing friend in my life. He always called me his "Angel" and now, he can be mine.

Dear family,
I had the privilege of getting to know Virgil during the Light Aircraft days (late Cleveland thru '79 Savannah). I fondly remember his 'crab sheet' for the last 'Trainer' buiit in Savannah. It was truly a testament to the people dedicated to the Light Aircraft Program. Be at peace and know he is already home in heaven.

I flew some great trips with Virgil when we worked together as pilots at Gulfstream. He was always a gentleman and was an excellent pilot. Fond memories of our time together and my best to his family and many other friends.

I have had the good fortune of knowing Virgil for better than 25 years. He was a true Aviator and always enjoyed a good adventure and a better story........and so, he is now off on a new adventure, and when we catch up to him, he will have a great story.

Virgil, you will be missed.

Virgil was a great friend and mentor. Some of my fondest memories will always be of our dinners together on those wonderful Monday nights at the Savannah Quarterback Club. Somehow Virgil beat me on just about every card! I will never forget when Coach Richt came down to talk with my Dad and we were all crying. Thanks Virgil for your friendship. I was honored and priveleged to have known this very special gentleman. God bless Virgil and his family.

Rest in Peace Virgil. I was very saddened to hear of his passing and will cherish many years of fond memories.

One of the greatest pilot and friend. He will be sadly missed.
