We loved and miss you Uncle Virgil.

What a special man. Was a pleasure to be his neighbor. We have truly lost a good one.

Virgil was one of the nicest gentleman and a fine next door neighbor to us for many many years. We had a lot of nice conversations in the front yard watering lawns and trees, chatting about football, or travels. Virgil talked about his coaching days, and you learned so much about his amazing life experiences and care for kids. He and his wife Elray were always very kind and gracious, and every Christmas they had a Collins Bakery fruitcake mailed to us. We have missed them since we moved...

Mr. Young was a gentle giant with few words, but very powerful when he spoke! I’ll remember him as a very caring gentleman who loved with action! He will truly be missed by Rho Iota Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority!
