Not sure what to say?

Today (October 27th, 2024) I was looking for a picture of Virgil to share with my family and discovered that Virgil had gone to Heaven. Of all the guys that were at the reunion in 2011 of the 1961 San Benito football team, Virgil was the one that looked like he had changed very little in 50 years. Virgil was such a wonderful person, teacher, coach and teammate! Paul (L. P.) Israel 1961 San Benito Teammate

Deepest condolonce to the the Garcia´s loss.

Our condolences to the famiIy,it's so sad to lose a very old friend and good friend of mine. I have known Virgil since elementary school at Fred Booth. I always looked up to him since we were in high school and college back in the 60's, especially in sports.

So sad to learn of this fine man´s passing and the impact his life had on so many of the students he mentored to. My condolences go out to Chris and the Vela/Garcia families during their time of grief. May Virgil Rest In Peace.
