Not sure what to say?

Ginnie,
I learned today of the passing of your mother in August. I have so many fond memories of her and your father while we were in high school. She lived life to the fullest and was gracious in everything she did. I admired her as a mother and as a person. She will be missed but not forgotten because of the positive impact she had on so many people. I feel fortunate to have known her.

To the Relatives of Mrs. Allen: Please, please accept my condolences on the recent passing of Mrs. Allen. I first met her when Phil and I were classmates at Cherry Road School and I would go to his house, then on Meadow Road, to play basketball. She always treated me kindly and as a person instead of a just a little boy. I always appreciated that. I will remember her as a friendly woman, who had class. With sympathy,

To the Allen Family,

I first met Ginnie in the bathroom at Bellevue Country Club in the early 1990s. I was entering my senior year at SU and was covering golf as a summer intern at The Post Standard. I knew nothing about golf, let alone local golf history. I was actually covering the Ginnie Allen Tournament, which I assumed was named for a former legend. I'll always remember that moment when we met and I made the connection. She was so gracious and modest about it, even a bit...

Dear Flip, Sherri, Ginnie, Rick and family,
I'm proud to have been Aunt Ginnie's niece! I will miss her very much - both she and Uncle Phil were a wonderful Aunt and Uncle to me! I can't believe they are both gone now - but with Dad, Aunt Mary and Uncle Dick, and the other Allens.
I'm so glad I got up to Syracuse for Mary's wedding 5 years ago and could visit with Aunt Ginnie then. She was a beautiful lady and well loved.
Please know you are all in my deepest thoughts at this time...

Ginnie, Flip & Allen Family:
Our sincere sympathies on the passing of Mrs. Allen. As great a golfer she was she was even a greater lady and mom. I know what she meant to all of you. Ginnie, I am sorry I can't be there as you were always there for my family. May Mrs. Allen birdie the next hole she plays.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Ginnie shared so much of her wisdom and kindness with me and for that I am eternally grateful. Peace.

Dear Ginnie, Flip & Family,

We are at Lake Clear but do want you to know of our special thoughts as you remember such a special parent. We loved knowing her and your Dad. God blessed you so richly and now what a wonderful heritage you continue.

Most sincerely,

Bobbie & Tony

Dear Phil, Sherri & family,
Out deepest sympathy. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time.
The RANUS FAMILY

Ginny and Family:
Sorry to hear about your loss. Your mom was a great lady. I am honored to have met her; she will be missed. You, and your family, will be in my thoughts and prayers.
