AYALA, Virginia T. - Passed away in Petaluma, June 7, 2007. Beloved mother of Frank Ayala of Reno, NV, Steve Ayala of Olympia, WA, Teresa Ayala-Tashjian of Petaluma and John Ayala of Santa Rosa. Loving grandmother of Derek Kirby, Brenton Ayala, Roz Ayala, Aldon Ayala and Devon Ayala. Devoted great-grandmother of Kiana Carlsbad. A native of San Francisco, age 86 years. Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Thursday, June 14, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mt. Pkwy., Petaluma. Friends may call for visitation on Wednesday after 12 noon at the ADOBE CREEK FUNERAL HOME, 331 Lakeville St., Petaluma. Recitation of the rosary will be on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions made in her name preferred to Hospice of Petaluma, The Alzheimer's Assoc., or Breast Cancer Foundation. Private interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma, CA. Terri- I just got into town yesterday, and heard about your mom. I am so sorry. She was just the greatest when we were growing up.. I never knew how real spaghetti tasted till I tasted hers.
