Not sure what to say?

Miss Bean was my first grade teacher back in the late 60s. I just had to post "Who was your first grade teacher on Facebook" so, I thought that I would look her up. I remember that she was such a nice person, and she was so dedicated to her work. I also remember that we had a "Mother's Day Tea" party and performance where we had to make these cardboard flowers with tissue paper. Mine was this big orange flower with square leaves. So, sorry to have found her name here.

Gerry and Mary--our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. We did not personally know Bonnie, but we had the oppotunity to get to know both of you through shariing time with our loved ones at N.C. Little Hospice in Edina. This was a dificult time for both our families--we became a "family" by supporting and caring for what each of our families were going through. We appreciated you being there for us as we were able to be there for you. May all our...

I knew Bonnie while we were both in real estate. She was a powerful woman with a positive attitude. She will be missed by all who knew her. Thank you for being in my life, Bonnie, I miss you terribly.

Gerry and Jack,
I am truly sorry to hear of Bonnie's passing. The connection we had through Jerry Remole goes back to the early 60's. I read most of the sentiments in this book and found that she was loved by many. Our sympathies go to you and your family..

I will never forget Miss Bean. She was my first grade teacher at Park Hill Elementary in the mid 1960's. She was my favorite teacher and I will always remember her kind smile and warm, friendly personality.

I was fortunate to run into her last year and I couldn't believe she remembered me by name over 40 years later! She was an exceptaion person who touched many lives in a special way.

My deepest sympathy to her family.

I had Miss Bean for 1st grade. She was one of the nicest teachers I had, and she made learning fun. I ran into her many years later and she still remembered me - she said she never forgot a smile. As well, I have never forgotten hers.

I was fortunate enough to have Miss Bean for both 2nd and 4th grades. She was a great teacher who really took an interest in her students. I will never forget the trip to Dairy Queen that she took some of us on as a reward for doing well on our spelling tests. She was a wonderful teacher and person and she will be missed.

Miss Bean was my 4th grade reading teacher and I remember how much fun it was to be in her classroom. She was always smiling or laughing with her students and that made the class fun.

Miss Bean was my first grade teacher at Peter Hobart Elementary. I am a college graduate in my 30's now, but I can still remember how kind she was. Always there with a hug for a shy little girl. Miss Bean even took me to dinner, and a play once, and I'll never forget that. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
