Virginia Ellen Bender

I had the pleasure of meeting Virginia in 1999- after my Sons passing - she invited my husband and myself to join her at a candlelight service. She was the most caring compassionate kind person I have ever known! Virginia has helped me through some difficult times. I was honored to have her in my life and will always treasure our friendship.

This is a picture of an angel tree. Every year at Christmas Virginia had a remembrance ceremony which included an angle for folks to take home. Jean made beaded ones for 3 years. This is a photo of her tree with her many angels.

My blessings to you all to experience beautiful memories and the Lord´s Presence as you grieve Virginia´s passing.

Admiration of Virginia's leadership in advocating for support of survivors of suicide. Thanks to her for this accomplishment that will benefit so many now and in the future.

It was such an honor to work with Virginia in her passionate work of suicide bereavement. She was such a pioneer in the field. She touched so many with her compassion. What a wonderful gift she was for so many.
