Not sure what to say?

Living across the street from Virginia gives me many fond memories. The kids would be rollerblading in the streets and Virginia and I would be sitting on the lawn just watching them. When the kids were young, we would get them to bed and then around 9:00 at night, Virginia and I would put on our ice skates and would ice skate around our pond by moonlight and just talk about our day. I remember when I first moved here and I was running and I asked Virginia to run in a race with me and she...

John and family, We are so sorry to hear about Virginia. We haven't seen you guys in a while but when I think of Virginia and you, I have only fond memories. I loved my ballet classes with Virginia downtown at the YWCA. They were the highlight of my week. And we always looked forward to our dinners together, the laughter and the stories we shared. I will cherish those memories and I pray the fond memories you have will bring comfort to you and your family.

When I think of Virginia the word kindness comes to mind. She valued all creatures big and small. Virginia worked on a butterfly garden with me at Prairie View Park and helped rescue a cat. I was unsuccessful for several days trying to catch the calico cat. Virginia said "Let me do my magic." and went into the bushes returning with the cat in her arms! The cat was reunited with its grateful owner several days later. I remember seeing her driving up and down Westnedge in her blue van full of...

Virginia was my Silver Sneakers instructor for many years. She was excellent at her job in many ways. For example, she was very knowledgeable and personable with all of us. Sometimes after class we would dance, along with others, who enjoyed dancing with us. She was so much fun! We became very good friends over the years. She and I really enjoyed the times she visited with me, especially horseback riding. At one point, she had brought her grandson who also enjoyed the horses. I really...

Sending sympathy, Ginny was a vivacious gal all throughout our school years and will always be lovingly remembered.

Virginia was an avid reader and contributor in our book club for many years. She was a passionate woman with much to say on the human rights of others. She will be dearly missed.

Oh my gosh, I can´t believe this. I am so sorry to hear this very sad news. I cut you boys hair when you were growing up and Virginia´s hair until I retired a few hours ago. My thoughts are with you all. I would love for one of you to contact me. With much love Jan
