Not sure what to say?

A truly wonderful lady and friend who devoted her entire life to serving and caring for others, not only as a teacher, but as a mother and friend. She was especially proud of her two daughters, Mary of Dallas and Margaret of Ft. Worth, who also chose to teach others with their gifts and hearts! Her lasting friendships and accomplishments will long be remembered and cherished! Looking forward to a joyful reunion with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

She will always be remembered for her warm and caring friendship with my mother and I, and look forward to seeing her smile again before our Lord. It will only seem like yesterday!

Virginia Brumbach was my very first college English instructor. I had her for an accelerated class where we finished both English 101 and 102 in the Fall of 1981. She was indeed an extraordinary individual.

Virginia was a wonderful friend and teacher, mother, and wife. I was blessed to know her as all of those, and will always cherish the times we were together at several concerts and events while at NTSU and Baylor! She was a lady and true friend in every respect and is much missed by many of those touched by her loving and caring spirit. My deepest sympathies to her wonderful twin daughters Dr. Mary Alice and Margaret. I know she was extremely proud of you both and you carry on the...

From 1995-1999 I took every class I could from her. She had some much insight into whatever we were learning. She helped me with my writing. She is greatly missed.

I just now found out by looking at the obits, she was my neighbor a few doors down. We had chats in the alley from time to time when we were walking our dogs. She was always so pleasant and nice. We really do miss her in the neighborhood. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

I am so saddened by this news. I remember taking her World Lit class at the age of 28 working on my degree. I took her class because I was told it was an easy A to be honest. But how could you not learn to love literature while being in this wonderful caring womens presense, who so obviously loved what and who she taught. She helped me unearth a poetic voice I had long since buried. She nutured strength in myself I didn't know I had. Tears come to my eyes as I write this and realize an...

Dr. Brumbach was truly a remarkable professor. I was in her American Literature classes at Eastfield College, during the early nineties. May God bless your family in this time of sorrow.

Quite simply, the best. Ever.
