Virginia J. Celaya, 50, went home to be with our Lord on Friday, January 25, 2013. She was an extraordinary woman who loved life and all of the people in her life. She is survived by her son, Matthew; her brothers, John (Barbara) and Joseph (Cathy); Aunt Jackie; nieces, Samantha (Mike) and Rose (Marc); great niece, Emily and great nephew, Ryan. Visitation will be held from 5 - 8 p.m., with a Rosary at 7 p.m., Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Tempe Mortuary, 405 E. Southern Ave in Tempe. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, February 1, 2013 at St. Timothy's Roman Catholic Church, 1730 W. Guadalupe Rd in Mesa; internment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Flowers may be sent to Tempe Mortuary.

Virginia and I went to high school together. We lived in the same neighbor hood. I have fond memories of her.SHE is in a much better place. watching over you all

I worked with Virginia at Motorola and General Dynamics in the Earned Value Department. She was a kind, intelligent lady with a big heart.

I worked with Virginia at General Dynamics. She was positive and upbeat and had a smile on her face at all times. She always talked about her son and how proud she was of him. Virginia will truly be missed.
