Ginny and I were friends for over 20 years. We shared an office for our private practices when I lived in Lenox and got together in NYC and Philadelphia after I moved to PA. We had fun and always good conversation. She was not able to communicate much after she got sick and I moved to Oregon; it was sad to lose touch and I am sad that she is gone from this world. My condolences to Amy who was such an important part of Ginny's and Bill's life and legacy.

I was Ginny's room mate at UConn. We kept in touch for years. Saw each other often at the Connecticut shoreline. She'd come to the Cape. I'd stop in Richmond on my way to my daughter's. We went to a Bob Dylan concert together. After her husband died and she became ill, I lost touch. You send a Christmas card, sometimes a quick letter. And go on with your own life.
I didn't know how sick she had become and am sorry I didn't make a bigger effort to see her before she passed. She was smart...

Virginia was kind and witty. She always brought happiness to me and others who cared for her. She gave me good advice, and told me funny stories. She had a calming way about her. I always will consider the time I spent with her to be special. I will keep her in my prayers and thoughts. My prayers also extend to her sisters and brothers, and her daughter. May they all find comfort in their memories of their dear, beloved Ginny.
