I am so sorry for your great loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn" sustain your family during this challenging time. (Isaiah 61:1,2) With heartfelt sympathy.

I had the great joy of working with Virginia for many years. I will carry with me the recollection of 2 marvelous attributes of hers: her charming voice and southern accent, and her unparalled sense of humor. Virginia's candid way of seeing things for the way they really were, and her forthrightness in calling things like she saw them refreshed us all, and kept us in stiches. Virginia called wrong, "wrong", and taught all of us to do the same. Virginia was not afraid to confront...

It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through.
