Not sure what to say?

Christmas has always been a favorite holiday for me. After Kathleen came into our life Christmas became the best holiday. I am not sure if we actually met the Dean family for the first time at Christmas, but in my memory it will always be at Grandma Dean's house on Maple Avenue. There was so much love in that house and I remember thinking how can Grandma manage all the shopping, to buy all these gifts for all of us!!! I realized that I was one of the us, and that Grandma Dean had accepted...

RE: Grandma Dean:

My favorite word to hear her say was Buttercup! I don't know how I
remember that, but it was no doubt in a rousting moment with the
family gathered around; eating fudge, playing cards, teasing, laughing
and more than likely cackling! Her love and joy are evident by the
family that she raised and the family that she (and they) adopted.
Kelli and I never felt like "step" grandkids, but always a part of the
family, always invited, always...

Mrs. Dean always reminded me as one of the Elegant Women that frequented Iszard's Tea Room. She was always the height of fashion. Only certain people will remember Iszard's Tea Room. I have very fond memories going there with my Mother-in-Law Alice S Rose. My thoughts are with you at this time.

Dearest Cousins,
Your mom , our Aunt Ginny ment the world to us Lag kids . We all have very fond memories of her and 'cuz' coming over and sharing a laugh.
After Uncle Tom and Meldo died Aunt Ginny and Anna would come over. Anna always telling a funny story or joke and Aunt Ginny on que stating "OH MY GOD" and laughing herself silly.
My fondest and most cherished memory of her was her ability to laugh.
We had the great fortune to take her to "The Downs" for some gambling...

To all my Dean cousins,

I have very fond memories of Aunt Ginny and of all the good times we shared when we were kids. I'll never forget the fun at your house on Maple Ave. and will always remember your mom with a smile on her face.

Fondly,
Mary Lou (Terwilliger) Steere
