I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Virginia, I was out of town, and I am so sad to have missed the services.
My love and prayers to you both. Virginia was a special lady to me. I will remember her quick wit and wonderful humor, together we could make each other laugh for hours! Virginia had a beautiful way of treating others, she was generous and kind, and her advice I always welcomed. Gene, thank you for sharing your darling Ginnie with me, I love you both....

Virginia was such an inspiration to me. She was the best legal secretary in Salt Lake City and I grew to know and love her very much when we officed next to each other in the old Capitol City Bank Building where the Matheson Courthouse now stands. I learned so much from her and have often felt sad that we lost touch with each other when you two began your adventure with The American Red Cross. So sorry to hear the news of Virginia. We love and admire you both so much. I always told people that you were the most in love couple I had ever seen. Wish my kids could have grown up knowing her as I did. Wish we could have been there Saturday, but know our hearts and prayers are with you. Love,

Dear Gene and Kent,
I was very sorry to hear of all the pain and suffering that Virginia has gone through over the last several years. I was not aware of her many additional menidcal problems, although I know she has had so many hard times. I am so sorry for your loss. It was 20 years agao on the 26th of this month that mom died and 4 years years ago on the 9th of this month that dad died and I still miss them both so very much!

I was so sorry to hear of Virginia's passing. She was my primary teacher years ago and I will always remember her bright smile and her kindness. My thoughts are with your family at this time.
