Helen (Howe) "Ginnie" "Gram" Frank, age 94 of Loudon, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Walter William and Helen (Miller) Howe. Ginnie was an honors graduate of Palmyra High School (Palmyra, NJ) Class of 1939 serving as their class historian. During her work career she served as a medical secretary/assistant/ transcriptionist to various doctors in the Palmyra/Cinnaminson/Medford area including Dr. Dean LeFavor's Family Practice. She also enjoyed serving as a candy striper. Most recently, Ginnie was a member of Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church. Prior to moving to Tennessee, she was a charter member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, Palmyra, NJ and assisted in planting, Lord of Life Lutheran Church, Tabernacle, NJ where she also served as the church secretary. Ginnie enjoyed caring for her orchid and flower plants as well as watching the birds and animals grazing our area. She enjoyed her jigsaw puzzles, cryptograms, but most of all her daily devotions, Bible readings, and prayer time and disliked missing her church on Sunday as she needed to be nearest to God. Her world was her family and her Lord. Gram will be forever remembered for her generous hugs and love for all.
In addition to her parents, Ginnie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willard W. Frank, Jr.; daughter, Judith Lynn Frank and brother, William Howe. She is survived by her devoted children and spouses, Susan and Thomas Holcomb, Loudon, TN and Dr. Walter Charles and Robin Frank, Tampa, FL; grandchildren and spouses, Brett and Heather Holcomb, Ocala, FL, Jason Holcomb and fiancée, Kristen Adamczyk, Palmyra, NJ, Lindsay and Zachary Butts, and Adam Frank, all of Tampa, FL; great-granddaughter, Kensie; niece, Judith Howe Hershey, Mesa, AZ and nephew, James Howe, Williamstown, NJ.
A viewing celebrating Virginia's life will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 17th at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, 260 Wade Road West, Loudon, TN with a homecoming service following at 12 noon.
