I had the privilege of knowing John and Gabby in Hawaii where John was my husband's boss. Some of Fred's fondest memories were those of sailing with John. A kind, generous couple who gave us our wedding reception at their lovely beach home as a wedding gift. My sincere sympathies to the family.
