Virginia Beard Gladden

FOSTERS | Virginia Beard Gladden, age 86, of Fosters, died June 23, 2014, at home. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Bone Camp Methodist Church with Rev. Gary Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Bone Camp Methodist Church Cemetery with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Frank and Hester Beard; brothers, Thurman, Calvin, Grover and Joe Beard; sisters, Nettie Sanders, Ethel Hopkins and Eugenia Beard; and daughter, Sharyl Diane Looney.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah L. Gladden of Fosters; sons, Clyde L. Gladden (Brenda) of Fosters and Anthony B. Gladden of Northport; grandchildren, Cathy Shelby Reynolds of Gautier, Miss., Tracy Shelby Ladnier of Ocean Springs, Miss., Sontina Gladden Brewer of Tuscaloosa Co., Franklin Allen of Ocean Springs, Miss., Erin Lizana of D'Iberville, Miss., Troy Gladden of Northport, Alex Gladden of Fosters, Christopher Gladden of Northport, and Travis Gladden of Northport; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her Savior Jesus Christ and devoted her later years to helping her children and grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Troy Gladden, Christopher Gladden, Travis Gladden, Thomas Reynolds, Trey Reynolds and Patrick Reynolds.
Honorary pallbearers are Fosters Volunteer Fire Department.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bone Camp Methodist Church Cemetery Fund or the church.
