Dear Bill and Family-
Chuck and I were so sorry to hear of Virginia's passing. I loved hearing all her stories of my dad and aunts and uncles when they were kids. I appreciated how she kept involved in the family and made the long trip to the suburbs to attend weddings, funerals, etc. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Bill: I regret that my schedule did not permit me to attend the wake, but my thoughts are with you and your family at this time.

Chatting with Virginia was the highlight of many Cahill family gatherings I attended. She had a wickedly funny sense of humor and great style; Virginia was a warm, gracious lady who enchanted all with her wit and her keen knowledge of the Cahill family history. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends!

To the Gross family, my deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your mother. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.(Erma Campbell's granddaughter)

Virginia was full of life and fun . She was so proud of her family and had a strong penchant for promoting both her immediate as well as extended family's tradition . She loved sharing her keen recollection of personalities and events of the Gross and Cahill families . I first met Virginia and Bill more than twenty five years ago at a family reunion in Terre Haute , Indiana . Since then even though our contact has been limited to infrequent family events , I will always remember and cherish...

It was an honor to work with Virginia at the 25th District Chicago Police Department, she was always a happy go person, with her warm smiles, and always offering to help out in any way she could. She gave me alot of support and ideas. She will be truly missed. May she rest in piece...God Bless the entire Gross family...Carol
