Not sure what to say?

Due to excellent knowledge and help she gave me the stamina to live thru breast cancer. You will be greatly missed. Hillary

This seems very unfair to me and of course I am fully aware that these things are not in our hands. However, she saved my life starting in 2012 and I’m still alive 2024. She was a wonderful doctor. Namaste

Ginny was a compassionately driven spirit, remarkably kind professional with a sense of humor and style distinctly her own. Leadership and faith guided by an uncanny witt made for easy friendships, extensive professional relationships as evident by publication, mentorship and patient care. Her legacy lives through her unforgettable zest for life and sharing every aspect of her spirit friend to friend, patient to patient, mentorship and acts of kindness. Faithful & many blessings! With...

I remember Dr. Herrmann from the years I worked at SLUH. She was so kind and such a wonderful physician and person. She performed surgery on both my parents and they absolutely loved her. They always looked forward to seeing her during their office visits. May she rest in peace!

I came from central Illinois in tears to see Dr. Hermann and gain her expertise in my journey with DCIS. I´ll never forget how kind, compassionate and caring she was. Dr. Hermann quickly put my fears to rest and took charge with her immense knowledge of this disease. I haven´t ever met a doctor who could even come close to her ability to treat their patients. She followed me until she was no longer able to do so. I had no idea that she was fighting a battle with the same disease that she...

Ginny was both a colleague of my husband, Brian, when he was at SLU and my friend and physician several years later at Wash U. She was a wonderful, caring woman, a great doctor, and the world is a better place because she was in it.

Anne and I arrived at St Louis U in the summer of 1975 (for my Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery and for Anne's Masters in Nursing). We met Ginny that summer and became friends; she was the Greatest. We enjoyed wonderful times for 15 years until we returned to Creighton. She was the favorite of the extended McGuire and Dyer families. We have been lucky to remain in touch all these years later. Thank you for everything, Ginny! Anne and Mike McGuire

I am terribly sorry to hear of Ginny´s battle with cancer and her recent passing. I extend my sincere sympathy, thoughts and prayers to her family. I have so many memories of assisting Dr Herrmann in the OR at CNE. I think we worked together for over 5 years! I really missed her when she retired from our hospital to finish out her amazing career in St Louis. I always knew where I wound be assigned when she had cases scheduled. She was a great surgeon and advocate for her patients I loved...
