KOLSON, VIRGINIA RUTH, 76, of Louisville, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2012 at Jewish Hospital.
The former Virginia Hayes was born in Bowling Green, KY and was retired from the UofL School of Dentistry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kolson.
Virginia is survived by her children, Leslie Schrager (Alan) and Robert Watts; sisters, Erlene Ewing (John) and Sue Myers (Cecil); brother, Harry Hayes (Dee); grandchildren, James Kolson, Katelyn Schrager and Shelbi Lay; and great-grandchildren, James Jr. and Gage.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, from 10 a.m-1 p.m, with funeral service at 1 p.m. at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Burial will take place in Cave Hill Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
I brought Nellie home a few weeks ago. I'm sure she misses Ms Kolson, but she is making a new home here. I hope to make her remaining years as pleasant as her first ten.
