Not sure what to say?

I graduated from Mineral Springs H.S.in 1963.I took Latin from Miss Langley for 2 years. She was also our Youth for Christ sponsor.I later became a nurse and Latin was really a help with medical terms.I well remember her and my favorite phrase--"Latin killing me!" I have had many kind thoughts of her over the years and always thought of her as a true friend. Hilda Kiger Williams

I graduated from Mineral Springs in 1959. Ms. Langley made Latin meaningful and possibly without knowing it, made English and later Spanish easier and more enjoyable.

I was one of Mrs Langleys Latin students. She was a sweet woman, and I have thought of her many times over the years. I moved away from that area many years ago, but I have never forgotten Mrs Langley and Latin. She used to say that Latin is a dead language, as dead as it can be, it killed off all the Romans, and now it's killing me.

I offer my deepest sympathy to her family at this time.

Sincerely,
Elaine Holder Urban

My condolences to the family. I graduated from Mineral Springs High School in 1963. Ms. Langley was my Latin teacher and a wonderful lady. We are saddened to hear of her death.
