LANGSTER, Virginia Lee, age 57, of Richmond, Va., passed away on Friday, September 3, 2010. She was born in Camp Pendleton, Calif., the daughter of the late Charles W. Vance. Ms. Langster was also preceded in death by a close friend, Ed Miller. She was an employee of Vision Systems of Virginia for 16 years, most recently working in their customer service department. Ms. Langster is survived by her loving daughter, Deanna Langster and her fianc‚, Sam Dixon, of Colonial Heights, Va.; her mother, Nancey E. Smoot of Eaton, Ind.; siblings, Wanda Gilland and husband, Michael, Chuck Vance and wife, Dorothy, Randy Vance and Larry Vance, all of Indiana; and a close friend, Gary Langster of Chester, Va. The family will receive friends at the Chester Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will follow there in the chapel on Wednesday at 12 noon with interment afterwards in the Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. It has been way too many years since i last saw and visited with Ginny as I knew her from childhood. She always had so much enthusiasm and good will on her side i remember her fondly to this day. I want to say how sorry I am for her passing since this seems way to early for such a great family friend. your cousin Denny

We here at BLINK Optical in Washington, DC are deeply saddened to hear of Ginnie's passing. For the past 15 years, we have worked closely with Ginnie and Vision Systems of Virginia and we always counted on Ginnie to make things happen....and constantly shared a good laugh with her when times were tense. Ginnie will be greatly missed.
