Not sure what to say?

I had the privilege of knowing her when we both worked in the Escambia county school district. . I was an administrative secretary and she was a reading specialist. She’s one of the finest and most loved individuals I have ever met. She was loved by everyone that knew her. The school district was blessed to have her. I think of her often. I know heaven must be keeping her busy because she liked to be busy.

Family of Virginia,
I'm so sorry to have just found out of Virginia's passing through the Presbyterian Women's Pelicanette. I knew Virginia first through Pilot Club & then through PW meetings. She was always smiling & happy & will be missed greatly. Connie Walker

Robbie and Mary Ann,
Steve and I just passed by Robbie as we were heading back into town. We had no idea your mom had died until I just now read the recent PNJ obits.Living across the street from Sammy Salter gave me many opportunities to have memories of Virginia. I will call Betty Salter Warren and tell her. You are in our thoughts. Patty Casey Northup and Steve Northup

Virginia was the Patron Saint of volunteers in Pensacola and at First Presbyterian Church. If everyone who ate a Virginia cookie had attended her memorial service, no church in town could have held the group! Now Virginia and Hope Mager can start working together in the heavens, and it will be a different place with Virginia there!

It was a privilege to have known Mrs. McDavid. I met her daughter, Ginger, in 1960 when we worked on the PHS yearbook staff together. Ginger and I became best friends and she took me home with her to be enveloped in the love and humor of her mother. Mrs. McDavid was a great cook and when baking a cake would always leave plenty of batter in the bowl for me to enjoy before the baked product was ready. She was a joy to have known and I treasure the memories. My love and prayers go to Mary Ann,...

Virginia taught my "problem child". And her loving guidance played a large part in helping our family adjust to the loss of husband and father. Our world is a better place because Virginia was here. Peace be with you. The Richbourg family

Virginia McDavid will always have a special place in my heart. She read to my students at N. B. Cook for years. My students and I loved her dearly. We wrote a book as a class one year and dedicated it to her. She was a sweet, loving, delightful friend. We will miss her!

The world is a better place because of Virginia. Virginia was a dedicated educator and loyal friend to many. She enjoyed life and community work. I always enjoyed her good company at the Greek Festival or a Kappa Delta Pi meeting or some other event. She will be missed. You are in our thoughts.
