Virginia Mims Heglar Alexander Neustadt

I got to know Ginger in 2017 as she participated in our Meredith College Tuscan Intensive cooking class in Sansepolcro, Italy. She was such a delightful person to have on the trip. I enjoyed hearing all her stories about her own study abroad experiences there. We will certainly miss Ginger and remember her life and legacy. I am sorry for this terrible loss for so many people. I was Ginger's adviser when she returned to Meredith College through the WINGS Program. She was a wonderful student and became a wonderful alumna. We had many good times together before and after she graduated. The las time I saw her was on the day we ended up at the polls together in November. She was just as chipper as ever, and I will miss that about her.
