Not sure what to say?

I was doing some genealogical research for my children and grandchildren, and finally found "Aunt Ginny's" obituary. She was my grandfather Raymond's youngest sister, and I offer my condolences to her family. I may have met her as a small child, but don't remember. My dad, her nephew, Richard Raymond III is still alive, as is Jon W. Raymond and Charles .W Raymond II. Now I know who Cousin Buffy is! :D Prayers for all.

I just found Mrs. Ott's obituary when searching for info about her. She was a dear correspondent with my father Robert Markarian in Springfield MA. Dad passed away October 13, 2010 as I was heading back for my 50th Tech High reunion, so we had the service while I was in MA. My condolences to you all.

To all of Virginia's family,
Bill took my card to TP on Tues. because we were unable to be at either the Requiem Mass and reception at St. Mark's or the reception at Terwilliger Plaza and I understood from Buffy that they were leaving on Wed. I hope you received it. I would have loved to have seen John and Buffy. I don't know when our two families met at St. Stephen's long ago, but I cherish the memoriries of our families doing things together.
Virginia will be sorely missed...

Buffy and York, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your mother was a joy.

Maria and Tony Gomes, Ludlow, MA

Buffy and York and all of the Mayo Family,
You are in our thoughts and prayers at this time. Although we did not know her personally, we certainly know her through the incredible legacy that she leaves behind. May God bless you all as you celebrate her wonderful life. Debbie and Tim Barry (Somers, CT)

I first knew Virginia Ott when I was about fourteen (1954). She was singing
in the choir at St. Stephen's Episcopal
Cathedral in Portland. I was taking
beginning organ lessons at the time and practicing on the St. Stephens organ and
occasionally playing that organ for
Evensong services on Sundays. Many years passed before I saw her again and that was at Terwilliger Plaza about six
years ago. She was a loyal and dedicated church-woman and I'm sure that she...

Mrs. Ott was a lovely and sweet lady. I had the pleasure of being her hairstylist during her years at Terwilliger Plaza. I enjoyed talking with Mrs. Ott very much. She will be missed. With prayers for her family, Edith Spickerman, Salon Manager.
