PAYNE, Virginia - Of Flint, age 78, died Friday, June 17, 2016 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held 10am Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 1-4pm and 5-8pm Tuesday and 9am Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Virginia was born in Flint on December 1, 1937, the daughter of John and Pauline McKenna. On April 4, 1964, she married Kenneth Payne. Virginia enjoyed creating silk flower arrangements, crafts and spending time with her granddaughters.
Surviving are husband, Kenneth;
son, Mike Payne;
daughter, Sandra Speckmann;
4 granddaughters and 1 great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jackie and sister Nancy.

I'm filled with profound sadness at the loss of one of my favorite sisters in law!! It's almost the same I had at the loss of her sister, my beloved Nancy my wife, and her sister!! They're now reunited along with her brother Jackie, and her baby daughter Laurie, whom God took home when she was just a little baby!! Now Virginia is in God's loving arms!! I had no way to go to the funeral or tell her goodbye because we had no transportation!! I love you sis and will see you before too long...
