Not sure what to say?

My husband, Peter, and I were fortunate to know Ginny. We got to know her when she knocked on our door at 835 N. Salisbury and told me that she had lived in the same house earlier in her time in West Lafayette. She remained a strong advocate for the neighborhood until she left West Lafayette. She was always positive and on the right side of every issue in West Lafayette. I was impressed by her intelligence and was lucky to receive many letters, usually including articles from her reading,...

Ginny had such an interest in photography. I'd enjoyed meeting her while I worked for Berry's, seems so long ago and yet not, and helping her make the pictures that pleased her. She and Rick brought a lot to our community, and they will both be missed.

I currently work at University Place and when Ginny was there I was her day time C.N.A. I have written to Ginny many times since she had moved. She was a sweet dear friend. I will miss her greatly.

I loved your Mom. I ran the University Place Exercise program when she was a resident there. She used to tell me how much she enjoyed the class. She was always so caring, soft spoken, and always a pleasure to spend time with. She will remain always in my heart.

Enid,
I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your mother. I still picture her and your house on Salisbury St. as a familiar and welcoming presence as we wandered the sidewalks to and from school and at play throughout our childhood. Sympathy to everyone in your family.
