Virginia "Ginny" Roper, age 80, of Hamilton, MD passed away on March 22, 2017 at Forest Hill Health & Rehabilitation Center in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Cowen, WV, she was the daughter of Foster S. Miller and Whyrl Salisbury and was the wife of the late John F. Roper. She worked as a receptionist for H & R Block for 30 years, and had also worked for Vincent J. Piazza Law Offices in Baltimore. She enjoyed bowling and going to the casino once a year with her girlfriends. She also loved to dance, spend time with her family, and play Bingo. She was a member of the Church of the Messiah on Harford Road. Mrs. Roper is survived by her son, Ralph Bob W. Karn III of Dundalk; step-children, Audrey Roper of Baltimore, Mary Jo Roper of Fallston, Sandy Roper of Westminster, and Tommy Roper of Edgewood; grandchildren, Rebecca L. Karn-Quinn of Bel Air, Michael Karn of Glen Burnie, David Karn of Baltimore and Robert Karn of California; brother, Steve "Lloyd" Miller of Rising Sun; sister, Ubagene Humm of Linthicum; 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, David Karn Sr., and brothers, James and Kenneth Miller. Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities, P.O. Ginny, I will deeply miss you. You were the greatest mother in law that I every know and a wonderful lady. You was there for me when your son passed away and you will always be in my heart ??. My prayers go out to Becky who took care of you and her family.

Oh, Mommom I am already missing you so much! You were such a great "Mom"! We had our moments and our laughs. I am honored to have been your caregiver, your granddaughter like a "daughter" and my best friend! I will miss our laughs and our phone calls every day. I am glad you are out of pain and with your beautiful ANGELS now! I can just imagine you dancing in heaven. I LOVE YOU! ????????
