Virginia R. Stout, 88, Nashville, passed away at 1:50 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, at Brown County Health and Living Community in Nashville. She was born April 8, 1922, in Dickey County, N.D., to the late John P. Rayl and Cora E. (Jackson) Rayl. Virginia worked at Union Bank and Trust as a teller. Her family was her hobby. Her marriage to Joseph L. Stout, who preceded her in death, was on Dec. 8, 1940, in Russiaville. Leonard and Virginia retired to Bradenton, Fla., for approximately 20 years. Then after Leonard's, passed she decided to move back to Indiana in 2002. Surviving are her children, Marilyn (James H.) Olin and Sue Ann (Bill) Dillon; siblings, Marie Cornell and Frank (Edna) Jackson; three grandchildren, Erin Shipley, Bronson Frick and Kelly Clements; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph L. Stout; a daughter, Lynette Stout; two brothers; and six sisters. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St. Services will be 1 p.m. at the mortuary with Pastor Zach Washler officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.
