Virginia Strobridge

Concord, NH - Virginia (Ginny) E. Strobridge, 90, of Concord, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 28, 1933, in Lawrence, MA, to Dorothy (DeLottinville) and Salvatore Costanzo.

Ginny graduated from Saint John's Catholic High School as a member of the National Honor Society in 1951. After retirement in 1994 from the State of New Hampshire, Department of Health and Human Services, Ginny was passionate about her community and enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafts, and volunteering. She was a second generation parishioner dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. Her kindness and compassion touched the lives of many.

Predeceased by her parents, Sam and Dot, and her five year old daughter, Sharon Lee Higgins, Ginny was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

Ginny is survived by her husband Paul Strobridge, daughters Brenda Higgins of Concord, and Deborah Simpson of Groveland, FL, sisters Sally Dillon of Concord, and Roseanne Houle of Concord, brother Joseph Costanzo of Farmington, beloved friend Kathryn (Kay) Clark, grandchildren, great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday May 23, 2024 between 4pm-6pm at Waters Funeral Home 50 South Main St. Concord.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday May 24, 2024 at 10:30am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, 180 Loudon Road Concord.

Family and friends are invited to attend a reception following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Live and Let Live Farm or Christ the King Food Pantry, Concord, NH.

Ginny will be remembered for her kindness and compassion, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Memories shared with her live as a treasure in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Let perpetual love and light shine upon her. May she rest in peace.

Ginny and Paul have been the most wonderful neighbors for 40 years. We've watched out for each other, helped each other and shared baked treats - we are so grateful.

I was so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Although because of time and distance I had not seen Ginny in person for a few years but she was a great friend for many years and I have lots of fond memories of all the good time we spent together.
