Thank you, Michael for those memories. Virginia T in context shows social ties to that whole group of crucial people in the Romanian Orthodox episcopate in America. She knew them when they were still Just Vasile and Viorel! It’s amazing what a 93 year old has seen. We will forever miss Virginia’s casual reminiscences of those times and thank you Michael for reminding us of that and what she –and my father Nick–meant to you.

My sincerest condolences to the Tekushan extended family. I met Virginia and Nick Tekushan thru the Union and League of Romanian Societies in America around 1960 and later at St. Mary's ROC after moving to Cleveland in 1963. She was one of the people that encouraged me to become active in the Church and the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate in America.
