I only just learned of Virginia's passing today and was quite saddened. I knew her mostly from the articles she had written for my online NJ history magazine, Garden State Legacy. A grand lady with a great talent, her books on Berkeley Heights have been enjoyed by many people both long time, and new residents of Berkeley Heights

Dear Janice and Ernest, Trevor, Jasmine and Keriann,
As a former member of All Saints' congregation and, I like to think, a friend of Virginia's, I'm addressing this to you but, of course, include all your family in wishing you my condolences for the loss of your lovely Mother. I enjoyed her so much, and know how much you will miss her wonderful smile and gentle ways.
With love - Ann Bird, AZ
