Just to let you know that I am thinking of you and your Mom. I often think about the good times on Knapp and Flavel streets, of camping and all the rest. Remembering those days brings a smile. I am very sorry for your loss.

Her cookie jar always filled with cookies, her shortbread and lemon bars at Christmas, her infectious laughter, her lamb stew and potato bread toast (shaped like the state of Oregon)with a poached egg that she would fix us when we stayed with her, and her always open door with a smile and a greeting will always be remembered and missed!What a great lady to have as our neighbor for all those years! Mrs. (and Mr.) Watson were another set of grandparents to me. I spent many afternoons over chatting with Mrs. Watson about just about everything. Her laugh was contagious and she always spoiled us with treats. She never forgot a birthday (perhaps because I reminded her daily for a week leading up to my big day) and her lamb stew, lasagna, an shortbread were some of my favorites foods. And... every once in a while I would even get to stay over and watch "Murder She Wrote" (which was better...
