Not sure what to say?

Patty,
I had a dream about your mother last night.
I am one of the founders of Echo Theater and your mother was one of our fiercest early supporters.
In the dream she had arranged for all of her possessions to be auctioned off with all the proceeds going to Planned Parenthood. Sounds about right doesn't it? I was able to purchase a mink beret. My great aunt Kitty, my feminist role model, wore one when she held my grandmother's hand at my grandfather's funeral.

Deepest sympathy to family and friends during this difficult time. May you receive comfort and peace from above. Jeremiah 29:11, 12

The article about fierce Ms. Virginia Whitehill was incredible. I had flashbacks of when she came to speak to my class at Ursuline Academy of Dallas circa 2008 - that was when I decided to really start finding my voice in politics and volunteer for voting and registration drives. That was her granddaughter (my dear high school friend) and she's significant contribution to my life. We can't replace her light, but we sure can carry the torch. I am so honored to have known you at the Dallas Mount Holyoke Book Club. Diana Shaffer

Ginny's loving daughter, Margaret Whitehill Boynton, introduced me to her a number of years ago. I found Virginia Whitehill to be a courageous woman filled with exciting stories of her life experiences. Lunch with Ginny was a glimpse into her views of the world and always included a history lesson into some great event within the women's movement. I am eternally grateful for my time with her. I am sure Ginny is somewhere out there looking for her next great adventure.

Ginny never failed to captivate as she shared stories of her great life experiences. When having lunch with her, one not only enjoyed her delightful, charming ways of being in the world, but you would also receive a history lesson on many of the great events of the women's movement. Thanks to her loving daughter, Margaret Whitehill Boynton, I was given access to this courageous woman. My life has been greatly enriched as a result. I know Ginny is already out there somewhere looking for...

I knew Virginia in the later part of her life, but I have heard so many stories from my mother about what a fierce defender of women's rights she was her entire life. We are so lucky to have had her help to pave the way for us. The world is a better place to have had her in it.

Such a lovely, elegant woman. Selfless and involved - an amazing example for all of us.
