It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Virginia B. Wilson of Fort Washington, Maryland, formerly of St. Stephen, South Carolina, who entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 17, 2022.


Those left to cherish her memory are: her husband of 55 years, Lawton Wilson; her daughters, Quintella Felicia Wilson and Crystal Michelle Wilson, both of Fort Washington, Maryland; her son, Shelton Lydell Wilson of Cross, South Carolina; her brothers, Harold (Margaret) Bowens of St. Stephen, South Carolina and Frank Bowens of Moncks Corner, South Carolina; and her sister, Belinda (Carlton) Bowens-Parker of Bowie, Maryland, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.


Viewing will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Gethers St. Stephen Chapel, 221 Church Road, St. Stephen, SC. Graveside service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022, 11:00 a.m., at Old Field Cemetery, off Halter Drive, St. Stephen, SC. Face masks are required at the viewing and the service.
