Virginia (Barrows) Wright, 98, passed from this life to the next on Tuesday December 31st. She was born in West Springfield, Mass. She raised her family in Chicopee, and then lived in Orlando, FL, Ossipee, NH, and in South Hadley MA. Virginia trusted God throughout her life and attended College Church in Northampton. Her favorite pastimes were being with family, helping others, playing cards, and doing puzzles.   


Virginia was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Palmer Wright, and her eldest son,     Palmer, Jr. (Buddy). She leaves her daughter, Cheryl (Wayne), and her sons Randy (Cathy), and Brian Wright, grandchildren, Lisa (Brett), Christine (Tom), Barbara, Nadine, Gregory, Chelsea (Nick), as well as many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Richard Barrows, sisters, Marjorie Josephson and Betty Poggi, and a special friend who always made her laugh, Armand Paquin.

Sad to hear of Aunt Virginia’s passing. She certainly lived a long life and years ago she was my confidant! She always told me we were very similar in the way we grew up! She was such a loving aunt! She had a great sense of humor and now she’s with my dad and her sisters! Love you!
