Virginia Foster Yozamp, 90, of Cary, Illinois, died Sunday night at Good Shepard Hospital. She was surrounded by her loving family at the time of death. Virginia was born in Fowlerville, Michigan. She attended Business College and served in the US Navy during World War II. She was married to Carl K. Foster and they raised five children in Washington, DC, Des Plaines, Illinois, Fort Wayne, Indiana, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, and Mount Prospect, Illinois. Following Carl's death, she became an artist in oils and acrylics. Her art works, especially Christmas paintings, are deeply appreciated by many. She married Raymond C. Yozamp and they moved to Cary, Illinois in 1973 where she became active in Cary United Methodist Church, UMW Crafts and Dorcas Circle as well as various Work Camps. Virginia was always thankful for her late-in-life friends. She is survived by her daughters: Linda (Bruce) Foster Momsen of Hillsborough, North Carolina, Nancy Adele Foster of Cary, Illinois, and Judith Ann (Richard) Degand of Antioch, Illinois and her sons Kenneth Carl (Janice) Foster of Wales, Wisconsin and Advance, North Carolina and Thomas Gordon (Cindy) Foster of Vernon Hills, Illinois. She is also survived by her grandchildren, who will serve as Honorary Pall Bearers, Deborah Lin Foster Momsen-Hudson, Cynthia Eileen Foster Aspen, Russell Carl Foster, Andrew Thomas Foster, Zax Carl Foster, Katelin Patricia Foster, Rick Degand and Sara Joy Degand and seven great grandchildren as well as step children Dwayne Yozamp of Cary Illinois, Dale (Jeanette) Yozamp of Lakeland, Minnesota and their families. She is preceded in death by her parents, Minnie and Orla Hall, her brother, James Hall, her sister, Dortha Hall Monroe, her husbands Carl K. Foster and Raymond C. Yozamp, her step-son David Yozamp, and daughter-in-law Estelle Yozamp. Virginia's life will be celebrated on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at an 11:00 a.m. Worship Service at Cary United Methodist Church, 500 North First Street, Cary , Illinois proceeded by Visitation at the church beginning at 9:00 a.m. Following the Service luncheon will be served at the church.
