Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear this. I lived next door to Vita for years, and she was a beautiful woman with a kind and generous heart. A few days after moving next door to her, I found her at the top of a tree, in my back yard! She was in her 60´s. Ashley had something stuck up there, and Vita climbed that tree to fetch it for her. I remember thinking "what a feisty neighbor lady I have"! She was amazing, Rest in Peace, Vita

My family and I lived next door from the Peppers for decades. When we bought the house, I was around 9, my older sister around 13 and my younger sister around 8. I remember we went to visit the new house before moving in and my family was so impressed with Mrs. Pepper-her humor, love of nature and all around goodness-that my younger sister said "I wish she was my mom!" As I remember Vita, she was ALWAYS smiling. I called her smiley

Dear Irene, I'm so sorry to read of Vita passing. I miss seeing you 4 ladies while out for lunch. I also send by sympathy on the loss of Virginia not too long ago. I send my sympathy, prayers, and hugs. Trusting in God, Nancy Koster Geelhoed

My deepest sympathies for the Pepper family. Ken was one of my best friends as a young boy. I remember Vita's kind and unique voice welcoming me whenever I was at the Pepper home. Ken and I would walk up the "Shoemaker Hill" to go eat a dozen apples. After High School I played softball on a team with Ken, Steve and Tim. Great family! Good times! We grew up in the best of times! People like Vita made it possible. Stay strong! Love you guys!
