Read MoreI remember when he came to Vine St. School in second grade. He didnt speak English. His story of escape affected me tremendously as a seven year old. I always admired his family and their determination. We were in many classes through the years in Bangor.

We knew you as a toddler, when your dad was stationed in Heilbronn, Germany. Your dad shared an apartment with my husband and your mom brought you over to Germany for a few weeks.

Vits you are so deeply missed already. Always knew you approved when you flashed that smile of yours. That smile was contagious! You were always great for a debate and more often than not you won no matter who it was with or what it was about. I always loved hearing your life stories! You were an amazing man Vits. To Vits's boys, he always talked very highly of you, your families, and all of your accomplishments. He was a very proud man! Vits you were a wonderful person, gonna miss you big guy!
