Vivian Dufour Beers

Vivian Dufour Beers, age 83, of Airville, PA, died on March 16, 2009 at her daughter's home in Bel Air, MD. Born in Magnolia, MD, she was the daughter of the late Philip Walton and Lillian Christina Bearch Dufour and wife of 64 years to the late John Calvin Beers. She devoted her life to her family. Her daughters and grandchildren were faithfully uplifted by her love and prayers. She loved the outdoors and nature, especially birds. She was interested and supported American Indians. Mrs. Beers is survived by her daughters, Darlene Taylor and husband, Paul, and Phyllis Long and husband, Ron, both of Bel Air, MD; brothers, Donald Dufour of Edgewood, MD and George Bearch of Joppa, MD; sisters, Mae Noye of Forest Hill, MD, Peggy Kemmerzell of Joppa, MD. Patsy Adkins of Abingdon, MD and Virginia DiMola of Glen Burnie, MD; four grandchildren, Jane Zinser and husband, Ray, and Charlene Reed, both of Bel Air, MD, Jason Long and wife, Janel, of Aberdeen, MD and Nathan Long and wife, Heather, of North East, MD; and eight great grandchildren, Sarah Fortney of Germantown, MD, Christopher Zinser and wife, Pam, of North East, MD, Nicole Zinser of Port Deposit, MD, Kevin Zinser, Derek and Emily Reed, all of Bel Air, MD, Chelcee Long of Aberdeen, MD and Violet Long of North East, MD. Pallbearers will be Jason Long, Nathan Long, Ron Long, Ray Zinser, Kevin Zinser, and Paul Taylor.
