Vivian Cheney, 93, of Charleroi, died Friday, September 17, 2021 in her home. She was born August 4, 1928 in Tar Hill, PA, a daughter of the late James and Irene Cullen Hill. She enjoyed coloring and spending time with her great grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Painter of Charleroi, three sons, Charles H. Cheney of Western Australia, Steven P. Cheney of Waynesboro, and Harry R Cheney, II of McConnellsburg; five grandchildren, Lisa Torsney, Derek Stewart, Darian Painter, Paul Cheney, and Brian Cheney; two great grandsons, Antonio and Gino Torsney; step granddaughter, Leigh Willard; and two step great grandchildren, Alexis and Chloe Reynolds. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Raymond Cheney, daughter, Crystal Lynn Cheney, brothers, Jim and Bobby Hill, and sisters, Dolores Thompson, Laura Mae Downer, and Nancy Cox. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, September 25 at 1:00PM in Round Hill Presbyterian Church where a luncheon will be held following the service.
