Vivian D. Frank

Vivian D. (Morin) Frank, age 77, of New Bedford, MA, formerly of Portsmouth, RI passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Cha Everette Hospital, Everette, MA. She was the wife of the late James Frank.
Vivian was born in New Bedford; she was the daughter of the late Ovila and Olga (Medeiros) Morin. She was a hairdresser before retiring. She was a foster parent for D.S.S in Fall River, Ma. From 1992 through 2008.
She adopted and took care of many children there. She called them children her children and their kids her grandchildren.
Vivian is survived by three children, Duane Atkinson of Warwick, RI, Michael Atkinson of Dartmouth, MA and Vivianne LaGue of Simsbury, CT. she was the sister of Raymond Morin, Ronald Morin and Marlene Fish, she was a grandmother of eight and two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She also was the sister to the late Paul Morin, Kenneth Morin and Annette Wilson.
Following cremation, Vivian’s memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 10:00AM in the BOULE FUNERAL HOME, 615 Broadway, Fall River, MA. Visitation will be held prior from 9:00AM to 10:00AM.
