Not sure what to say?

I thought of Viv this morning as I was reading the news about the New River Gorge area being designated as our newest National Park. She shared some wonderful stories about growing up there with those of us who were lucky enough to work with her in the Ohio State 4-H Office. She was a wonderful lady who will be long remembered and missed.

Our sympathy and prayers go out to Vivian's family. The Via's were very good friends of ours. We all moved from Thurmond to Cleveland, OH and then to Columbus, OH. I knew
Nancy and Vernon. We all went to school together. Vivian will be missed, but no one can take our memories of her away. She is now in the presence of Jesus and won't have any more pain or suffering.
I thank God for Vivian's faith
and look forward to seeing her again.

We love you and will miss you Sissy. I think about when you showed me how to find my way around in Hinton, peeling lots of potatoes at Janice's for dinner, long talks, and when we both took a nap at Aunt Gladys's house-- when that storm came through Hinton, and we couldn't get to Janice's house for a while.....hahaha.. I was very fond of you from the first day I met you!I'm happy mom and Janice were able to make it to see you. I'm sorry I didn't get there in time.

I was sadden to learn of your loss. I am a friend of Vivian from Thurmond and enjoyed some good times with Nancy, Vernon, and her. I know you have many beautiful memories.
