Pawtucket – Vivian A. (Bellenoit) Landry, 71, of Carpenter Street died Tuesday, October 26 at Northeast Specialty Hospital, Stoughton, Massachusetts. She was the wife of the late George E. Landry.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Alice D. (Gagnon) Bellenoit.
Mrs. Landry was a bookkeeper for the former New York Lace Store and Dupuis Oil Company, both of Pawtucket. She also was a jewelry worker for Providence Metalizing Company, Providence. She retired in 1977.
She was a 1950 graduate of the former St. Jean-Baptiste High School, Pawtucket.
She was a communicant of St. Edward’s Church, Pawtucket.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Donna M. Dupuis of North Providence, Karen A. Wescott of Lincoln and Sandra L. Degnan of Pawtucket; a son, James K. Landry of King’s Park, Long Island, New York; 2 sisters, Anita Chalk of Atlantic City, New Jersey and Pauline Fitzsimmons of Pawtucket; 12 grandchildren, Jason Wescott of Lynn, Massachusetts, Christopher, Kimberly, Michael and Melissa Wescott, all of Lincoln, Andrew and Kaitlyn Dupuis, both of North Providence, Cassandra and Victoria Degnan, both of Pawtucket, and Jamie, Nicole and Ryan Landry, all of King’s Park, Long Island, New York; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joan Wood, Irene Crompton, Claire LaCasse and Roger Bellenoit.
The funeral will be held Saturday, October 30 at 8:30 A.M. from Bellows-Falso Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in St. Edward’s Church, Weeden Street, Pawtucket. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, North Attleboro, Massachusetts.
