Not sure what to say?

Ms. Malczyk was my 6th grade homeroom teacher. I absolutely loved her as a teacher. She encouraged my love of reading and often would suggest books for me to read during DEAR (drop everything and read) time. She promoted our creativity through assignments she gave and we were often able to use various means of presenting materials. As an educator, I recognize the value what she gave me. I wish I had known of her passing as I would have attended and shown my respects. Rest in Peace Ms. Malczyk!

I had Mrs. MALCZYK as my sixth-grade teacher in 1975/76. She was absolutely wonderful, and had a great sense of humor. What I remembered most about her is that she genuinely cared about her students. She wanted each and every one of us to succeed. I hope she knew how she enriched the lives of so many students. She will always be remembered fondly and respectfully.

I was a student of Ms. Malczyk at Leckie Elementary in DC. I too am saddened by the learning of her passing. She had a tremendous impact on me. I respected her. May she rest in peace.

Mrs. Malczyk was my third grade teacher at Kechum Elementary School in Anacostia. in 1958. I was never interested in learning until I had her as a teacher. She made me feel special and loved. I have thought of her over the years. This morning I decided I would try to find her. I am filled with much sadness to know that she is gone. Oddly enough, I live a short distance from where she did in Southern Maryland. Wish I had pursued this sooner.
