I was in Mr. Montoya's 6th grade math class back in 1997-1998. I remember his Broncos van and the classroom being plastered with Broncos everything. He always greeted us with a smile, and he was one of my favorite teachers. My thoughts go out to his friends and family- he was a great teacher!

My heart, my prayers and my sincere sympathy goes out to you, Anselma, and your family for your deep sadness over the loss of a truly wonderful man. Vivian will always be remembered in my heart as a very genuine, kind, patient and good man. Mr. Montoya was my math teacher at South Jr. he was a real gem of a human being. He was also my parents insurance agent and they have remember him with fondness. We will keep his family in our prayers, he is now with his heavenly father. Rita Vigil Rios
