Not sure what to say?

To Vivian's Family - I was so sad to hear about Vivian's passing. We all here at Penland loved seeing her arrive to campus for a painting class. Having her here for spring or fall concentration classes was such a treat. I look at my office window now and can just see her walking along with that lovely bounce in her step, that beautiful white hair and always a hearty laugh!

Our thoughts are with you all during this difficult season. Thank you for sharing a wonderful spirit with all...

Aunt Vivian, we all love and miss you terribly . I'll never forget your infectious laugh and how sweet you were to me growing up and to my children these past few years. We will miss you and we love you!

I miss you Mom. What am I supposed to do with all of these paints, pastels, brushes, unfinished artwork, canvasas, and silkscreens? I love you Mom!

Vivian Is In A Much Better World Today Than This One.

There, She Is Free From All The Pain, Suffering And The Agony She Alone Quietly Endured While Here.

Upon Her Arrival, There Will Be A Grand Celebration Held In Her Honor, By All Who Have Preceded Her.

We Should All Pray For The Repose Of Her Immortal Soul.

May God Bless Her Family, And God Bless Vivian Lee Wommack.

My Aunt Vivian was a very special lady who alway spent time with me when I was young. See opened her home to me and I have many fond memories of my summers spent in Columbia. She will truly be missed.
