Not sure what to say?

Jaine I sure missed you and your angel food cakes. On my birthday...

Vivien Jane Eakins Reich

To be around Jane Reich was a learning experience whether you wanted it or not.
When she visted our office, I got small lessons on figs, bridge, quilting, etc. But a few years ago I was lucky to spend a couple of weeks in Italy with Bob's family and Jane. I was in charge of my Mom and Jane, and Jane immediately started refering to me as her "Italian Boy Toy". In those two weeks I learned all about plants, food, wine, people, politics,.....even the origin of the toilet! And who knew...

Mother's Day was hard on all of us. Alyssa successfully made an angel food cake... so successful that it was gone in 20 minutes... There was, however, no blue cheese dip. There was a voice missing from the conversation. We all felt it. Perhaps she was there though, watching us talk about her. We miss her, we love her and we will ALWAYS cherish her. God Bless!

Very classy lady!
I am proud to have met her...
Shs's made heaven even more
beautiful!

My family was lucky enough to have Jane and Bobby move across the street from us, 'on the mountain' in the 1950's. Bob and Philip were 'just little boys', as Jane referred to them. My mother marveled at Jane's patience and disposition, never losing her cool raising these four boys. And I understand that she remained that way. I could write a book about those times. This family...

Janie and Griffin on his "Zeroth" birthday

I can't believe I almost had to talk her into holding baby Griffin the day he was born.... here, almost a year to the day later, this is my most cherished Janie picture...

You must have been a Great Mother to have raised a great child like Bob (AKA Nokia). Thanks for doing that, he has enriched my life just knowing him.

Hello All. I'm thankful for this website... I'm thankful that God did not take Janie while Griffin and I were there. I believe he listened when I prayed (harder than I ever have in my ENTIRE life) as she had her heart attack that Wednesday. What I have been through has been traumatic at best, but I have renewed spirit. My life is also in God's hands... I trust in that. She is the matriarch of this family... the root that grounds us, and for that reason and many others I will weep on occasion...
